Equestrian activities

Lakes Ranch also offers a range of equestrian activities that are affordable and safe. Our Group Lessons are a great way to begin riding if you have little knowledge. This allows each memebr of the group to interact with others learn the basics together and feel no pressure, but instead enjoy their time together.

Riding Lessons

1.5 hour riding lessons are available one on one basis or in a group:

• 1 lesson per week costs $30 for a child (group session); $35 for an adult (group session); or $45 for a child or adult (private one on one)

* prices are stated on a per lesson basis - these are Concession Prices only.

Casual lesson prices are same as Trek pricing, with minimum of $100 per hour.

Concession tickets are available from the office for your convenience.  All lessons must be pre-paid for.

Horse Treks for non-resident individuals and groups

• Pony rides $10 - 10 minutes on horse back in Riding Arena - allow up to 30 minutes
• Mini kids trek $15 - 15 minutes on horse back - allow up to 45 minutes
• 30 minute trek $35 - allow 1 hour
• 60 minute trek $50 - allow 1.5 hours
• 90 minute trek $75 - allow 2 hours

All prices are stated on a per lesson basis

Horse Treks for school groups

• Mini kids trek $15 - 15 minutes on horse back - allow up to 45 minutes
• Introduction to Horse Riding - 30 minute trek $25.  Allow 1 hour.  Includes safety briefing and instruction.
• 60 minute trek $40.  Allow 1.5 hours.  Includes safety briefing and instruction.
• 90 minute trek $50.  Allow 2 hours.  Includes safety briefing and instruction.

Other equestrian services include:

• • Grazing (with herd)
  • Horse schooling

All prices are discussed on application.

Please note a minimum charge of $100 per hour applies to all equestrian activities.
