Catered Camp T & C’s

  1. Alcohol is not permitted on camp site unless approved prior to your arrival. Illicit drugs are not permitted on site.

  2. Lakes Ranch Management requires that the subject matter presented to groups at Lakes Ranch is not contrary to, nor antagonistic to an evangelical understanding of the Christian Faith.

  3. No pets/animals are permitted on the Lakes Ranch site, excluding guide dogs - visual and auditory.

  4. Duties during camp - Cleaning before departure - the facilities are expected to be kept in a clean and tidy state. At the close of occupancy each group is to leave the camp site in the way in which it was found. This includes tidying of accommodation, grounds and venues. If camp is vacated before being completely cleaned to a satisfactory standard, Lakes Ranch reserves the right to charge for cleaning at a rate of $50 per person, per hour required to complete the tasks to the satisfaction of Lakes Ranch at its own discretion. Cooks dishes and all campers dishes are to be cleaned immediately after each meal. A staff member will assist, however the dishes and dining rooms are to be thoroughly cleaned by campers to the satisfaction of management.

  5. In accordance with our Fire and Safety regulations and insurance policies, there is to be:

    1. No smoking/ vaping in or near any of the camp buildings - designated smoking/vaping areas are provided.

    2. A complete list of campers names is to be handed to your Lakes Ranch Host on or before arrival.

  6. Property damage and/or loss - all breakages and losses to Lakes Ranch property or equipment are to be reported immediately to Lakes Ranch Management. These will be deducted at cost from the bond. Lakes Ranch takes no responsibility for loss of or damage to personal property. Guests are only permitted to access the buildings to which they have been allocated and are booked by the group. 

  7. First Aid – it is the responsibility of each group to provide its own First Aid equipment. 

  8. Where groups provide their own supervision for water activities, at least one adult at each water activity must have CPR and First Aid training. Verification is to be provided prior to arrival at Lakes Ranch. 

  9. Final numbers and dietary requirements for catering purposes must be notified to Lakes Ranch, along with a programme, not less than 15 working days before the commencement of occupancy. The minimum number on the Contract is what will be charged if the numbers at occupancy are less. 

  10. Noise – in consideration of others, all noise must cease at 10.00pm and must not commence before 7.30am including in the pool complex. 

  11. Flora and Fauna on the Lakes Ranch property must not be disturbed. 

  12. Rates are inclusive of all meals, accommodation and the use of facilities that do not incur additional charges as stated on the Lakes Ranch Bookings Enquiry Form. Use of facilities is to be arranged with Lakes Ranch Hosting Team. Rates are subject to review and may only be confirmed 6 months prior to occupancy. If any staff member is required outside of this for activities other than Horse Riding, Climbing Wall, Abseiling and the Swoop, there is an hourly charge of $50 per hour, per staff member. 

  13. Multiple Bookings – we reserve the right to have multiple groups use our facility. If multiple bookings are necessary we will be sensitive to ensure there is compatibility between groups. Accommodation will be reserved for the number requested. 

  14. Non-compliance – Lakes Ranch has taken all reasonable and practicable steps to manage the risks of the facilities and activities. On arrival your host or a Lakes Ranch staff member will communicate Lakes Ranch policies/procedures/rules and regulations to your group. 

  15. Failure on the part of any paying camper or their supervisor/guardian to: 

    1. Comply with all rules, regulations and procedures as laid down by the management of Lakes Ranch 

    2. Use camp facilities or activities in a safe and responsible manner in relation to Section 16 of the Health and Safety Act 1992 may invoke the following actions: 

    3. Forfeiture of right of use of activity or facility 

    4. Forfeiture of right to re-book 

    5. Instant removal from site 

  16. Arrival times are after 2pm and accommodation must be vacated by 10:00am unless prior arrangements are made with our hosting team. 

  17. If the numbers at occupancy are less than the minimum number notified the Group for whom the booking is made will be liable for the minimum number stated on the signed Bookings Contract. 

  18. As we are a Christian Camp we require a modest standard of dress at all times. The manager has full discretion in this regard.

  19. Please be aware that our food and food preparation areas may contain or come into contact with common allergens, such as dairy, eggs, wheat, soybeans, tree nuts, peanuts, fish, shellfish or wheat. Lakes Ranch takes no responsibility for allergic reactions caused by food ingredients and advises that as we have multiple users of our facilities, cannot guarantee facilities, utensils and appliances are allergen free.

  20. Casual users of our swimming pools must advise the office or a staff member before entering the pools and are to pay $5 per person in the honesty box or to a staff member.

If Camp is vacated before completely cleaned Lakes Ranch reserves the right to charge for cleaning at a rate of $30 per person per hour required to complete the tasks. All kitchen facilities, utensils, cooking appliances, crockery, cutlery, benches etc are to be thoroughly cleaned, including dining rooms immediately after all meals.

No booking is confirmed until a deposit is paid as per our quote provided

Booking Conditions and Deposit: A deposit as per our quote and/or our invoice is required with confirmed acceptance of our Contract and Conditions of Hire and Rates (below) before the Booking is confirmed. An invoice will be issued based on the information provided via our online booking form. Payment in full is required within 7 days of the camp concluding. This can be direct credited to 02-0412-0052843-00, (Lakes Ranch Charitable Trust). Please put your group name in the reference area.  

Cancellation Policy:  

  1. If a booking is cancelled less than six months prior to the occupancy date, that group will be liable to pay an amount equal to 80% of the accommodation booked. 

  2. Should a booking be secured by Lakes Ranch in substitution then the minimum amount due will be reduced by the value of the substitution. 

  3. Notification of cancellation must be in writing/email and payment of cancellation fee as stated above 

 

Application: 

  1. I hereby apply to use Lakes Ranch Christian Camp for the use of the Group for the stated purpose 

  2. I agree to pay all charges for the use of the facilities in accordance with the Conditions of Hire and rates applicable at the time of occupancy 

  3. I accept full responsibility for the Group and will pay for any loss or damage caused by the Group. 

  4. I understand that Lakes Ranch Christian Camp has the right to cancel the hire of the facility at any time should any use or proposed use of the facilities by the Group be, at the discretion of the camp Manager, inconsistent with Lakes Ranch Christian Camp beliefs or purposes 

  5. I agree to use all activities in accordance with the Health and Safety Policies of Lakes Ranch Christian Camp and accept full responsibility for appropriate supervision of our group while in camp to minimize potential for accident or injury 

  6. Lakes Ranch Christian Camp and its staff accept no liability for any loss or damage to property and I shall be responsible to ensure that all persons in the Group and their guests and visitors are aware of this disclaimer. 

  7. As we are a Christian Camp we require a modest standard of dress at all times. The manager has full discretion in this regard.

  8.  Invoices more than 14 days in arrears will incur penalty interest at a rate of 2.8% per month (calculated daily).
